SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY

In accordance with Masse Contracting, Inc.’s policy to provide a drug free work-place for all its employees, we follow all guidelines required by DOT and NON-DOT safety and federal laws. Masse Contracting, Inc.’s Substance Abuse Policy – for its employees and sub-contractors is as follows:

-The use of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcoholic beverages, firearms, and/or weapons in the immediate vicinity of either Masse Contracting, Inc. and/or one of our customer’s facilities is strictly prohibited.

-The use of drugs/medicines prescribed by a licensed physician for an individual employee is permitted provided it does not affect work performance. All such medications must be in the original container and must be in the employee’s name.

-Employee’s found in violation of any of these policies will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination. The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession or sale of illegal drugs or substances is sufficient grounds to warrant immediate dismissal.
